In 2009, I competed in the FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships for Team USA Women for my second consecutive year. The 2009 FIRS Inline Hockey World Championships were held in Varese, Italy from June 28 - July 4. The USA Women took gold after defeating France in OT in the semi-final game (1-0) and then defeating the defending World Champion Czechs in the gold medal game (3-1) .
