Welcome to Plays Like A Girl (PLAG)!

PLAG is an entertaining and resourceful site for athletes and non athletes alike (not just hockey).

I'm Allison Era. My passion is HOCKEY. I play ice hockey and inline hockey. Born and raised in Arizona, I'm a member of the 2009 Team USA Women's World Inline Hockey Team.

I also play 19U girl's ice hockey for the LA Selects Girls Ice Hockey club in Southern California. Our LA Selects Girls team is usually the Pacific District team at USA Hockey Nationals.

I play both adult/youth boys and womens/girls inline hockey. I play minor hockey with the AIHL Phoenix Dragons and youth/women's hockey with Team Excalibur Hockey out of the Castle Sports Club in Phoenix, Arizona. I have skated Nationally since the age of 8 and added playing Nationally with the girls at age of 12. I have played Women's Inline Hockey for Team Excalibur since the age of 14 in such events as NARCH, AAU, and USARS.

My Blog is full of updates in my life on hockey, friends, and school.

One of my goals is to play women's ice hockey at a significant NCAA hockey college.

I have links to hockey Videos that I found on YouTube or other places on the web.

I also have Hockey/Friends videos that my family, friends, or I have created to remember the good times we had.

My crazy dad (Coach Greg) has taken a ton of hockey action photos from the hockey tournaments that my teams or me and my friends have played in.

I have many hockey tournament Photos galleries from Team USA Inline, the LA Selects Girls Ice hockey, the Phoenix Dragons AIHL teams (coming soon), and Team Excalibur Inline Hockey (both youth and women).

I'm the Editor-In-Chieffor my school newspaper, skated Women's Roller Derby in exhibition bouts, and I have dabbled in Lacrosse and Soccer. I love to listen to Music and I Read quite a bit. And now I'm creating websites!

I have Traveled all over the USA and even to Europe and Canada for hockey tournaments and competitions. My Travels will 'pin point' you to all of the exciting places hockey has taken me.
